Guidelines for Guests

Minimum Stay
Guests will be asked to stay for a minimum of 3 nights.

Food
All plans include meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at our one-seating-only dining facility. To keep insects to a minimum, we ask that our guests not keep food in their cabins. Arrangements can be made for food storage in the communal area.

Please Remove Your Shoes
It is a custom in Hawaii to remove your shoes when entering the home. We have carried this over to our guest rooms. On your lanai, you will find a shoe rack, where you can place your outdoor shoes when returning to your cabin. Disposable slippers are provided for indoor use, if you desire.

Toiletries
We are an ecologically-minded property, and we recycle our water. We provide toiletries, such as toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. If you would like to bring your own, we ask that it be easily biodegradable without sodium, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium chloride, antibacterial agent, or cocamidopropyl betaine. Due to coral damage from sunscreen, we also ask that you use biodegradable sunscreen, which we can provide if you need it.

Many of our guests and workers are environmentally sensitive themselves, so we ask that you avoid using chemically-scented products, especially perfumes and colognes, during your stay, and that you keep your use of essential oils to a minimum.

Children
Guests under 16 are accepted on a case-by-case basis only. The property will not be “child-proofed” and we will not have child care or child-related activities, nor do we offer discounted rates for children. For the safety and peace-of-mind of our community, proof of immunization will be requested for any minors under the age of 12 prior to approval.
